add support for conference rooms.
When the meeting gets scheduled, I would love to get a conference room that is closest to me automatically inserted based on the number of attendees. It would be awesome if it could automatically book multiple rooms if attendees are geographically distributed.

Thanks for the suggestion. Getting conference room suggestions is a great idea, though can be misleading if when consensus is reached and the meeting invite is sent out, the conference room is no longer available.
For our first cut release, we will not be adding conference room support but are looking into adding it in future releases.
Thanks for your support!

Need to be able to include conference rooms in multiple ways
1/ Room/Resource pool--ability to list a number of rooms (and bookable resources e.g. mobile equipment), any of which would be OK, findtime picks one that is free when meeting is scheduled
2/ Multi-room--where you need more than one room (each from a pool) e.g. multi-site meetings with audio or video equipment in room, or where you have rooms with flexible dividers and you need both parts of the room for the meeting (opening the divider)
3/ And multi-location: e.g. "room + audio dial in details"Many companies have a lack of conference rooms and the available ones are heavily used, so anything which helps manage that better is welcome. Showing the rooms/resources on the requester's time selection page will also help remove the infeasible options

There is another idea/s to edit the final meeting invite before sending it, the organizer can then see what is available and update the location or conference call information as necessary.

As an implementation idea, the organizer can choose a set of possible rooms, and you pick whichever is available once consensus is reached. Doesn't need to be locked.

This is a dealbreaker for our company too unfortunately. It's not productive to schedule a meeting between 4 persons via findtime and afterwards schedule the meeting room.
We want to schedule the meeting room via the initial meeting invite. (so this only takes 1 step) If we schedule a meeting: we invite all attendeed together with meeting room.

Hi there! I agree with your point. Most of the people wanted to have such conference rooms that book automatically depending on their number of attendees. Along with this nowadays some entrepreneur who does not afford having space for meeting room books serviced offices. Serviced offices offer them such location which is nearest to all the attendee. Entrepreneur hires serviced offices such as http://www.serviced.com.au/meeting-rooms-sydney for scheduled meetings. Hiring serviced offices proves to be affordable for most of the entrepreneurs.

I concur, the absense of conference room support is a show stopper. I guess you could add your conference rooms as optional attendees but users will forget to do so and the meeting voting process will be left suspended indefinitely due to lack of response from the conf room.

I too would also like meeting rooms added.
We could add multiple rooms that suit our needs and if one is available at the time when a consensus is made then automatically take it. If a meeting room isn't available for any of the available options after reaching a consensus, you could just either a) fallback to a Skype meeting b) if a meeting room is a must have cast a revote.

I agree that the resource function for booking meeting rooms should the included. That would be part of the original scheduling process anyway as I would need to check that a meeting room was available for all the suggested time slots and tentatively reserve it. Otherwise once everyone has replied there might not be any rooms available.

Agree w/ Ned Pyle, Need the ability to at least add the room user.

It would be awesome if you can add items as resources (like conference rooms) and have them treated as such. This way, you could set the location and have the room reserved correctly as well. Otherwise, you just have to put it on the invite list and you will never get a response.

Thanks Erica. I think there is a simpler solution not subject to the point you note. While meeting times are being voted on and consensus is being reached, it would be wasteful to try to reserve many possible rooms/times. Rather, once consensus IS reached, the ideal scenario would be to propose the closest available meeting room, of sufficient size to accommodate # of attendees, that is physically proximate to all attendees. Extra credit for offering choice of rooms that are closer to some attendees vs. balancing distance for al (ex: If a VP and several non-VPs are invited, propose a room closer to VP).

The conf room is P0 for me. Without the ability to at least add the room user, I am left with a meeting that is only good for Skype.
