FindTime, any update on this request? Just had another issue where I sent out the findtime poll where I was free on 8/18 for lunch. Between the time I sent out the invite and the time the people responded, I booked a meeting on 8/18. About an hour after that my invitees voted, and of course, they picked 8/18. Please get FindTime to query my calendar and remove choices based on current availability.

This is an important request, IMHO, as it addresses real world scheduling issues and adding more intelligence could make FindTime an absolutely essential tool for everyone to use. Here's how I see this request working.

At the time the FindTime invitation goes out, the organizer sees that there are no conflicts with internal participants. As external participants vote, FindTime knows their availability. There is ALWAYS a lag between the time the invitation goes out and when all required attendees vote. If the organizer or one of the internal participants schedules something on their calendar for one of the times they had previously indicated was available, then FindTime will see that and mark the previous available time as unavailable. If the time marked as unavailable was the only time in their vote, then an email is sent to that participant asking them to add more available times for the meeting. Once all the required participants have voted, the system can automatically schedule the meeting as done today.

I suppose that people add things to their calendars that are simply tasks where they block time off to do something. Technically, this is "free" time. It's on the calendar to help remind them to get something done. If it must be done during this time, mark it as "busy", otherwise, mark it as "free" so that FindTime can do its thing.

I set meetings as out of office when I need to travel. I add a travel time appointment before and after the meeting for the time it will take me to reach meeting and return to office. These are set to out of office. FindTime sees this all as unavailable time and makes suggestions for availability properly.

Great suggestion! We’ve heard several users request the ability to ping attendees to vote. We’ll look to add this functionality.

This is an extremely important request. We definitely need a way to encourage someone to vote. For example, something as simple as going to view all of the open invitations and a button to resend an invitation to all those who have not voted.
